Keira Holmes Gordon was fatally shot in a courtyard of the old B.W. Cooper public housing development when she was got in the crossfire of a gun battle Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 just a few days shy of her second birthday Dec 22, 2011. Mourners including the child's parents, Fenesia Gordon and Rakeem Holmes, New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu and many more gathered at Abundant Life Tabernacle on Franklin Avenue for a 10 a.m. funeral service Friday Dec. 23, 2011.
