With downtown New Orleans in the background, the Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps, known as "The Commandant's Own," the Silent Drill Platoon and the Color Guard perform on the parade field Tuesday (March 16), at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, in Algiers. Collectively known as the Marine Barracks Washington Battle Color Detachment, the units stopped in Algiers during a national tour and performed for Marines, sailors and civilians, and their guests - as well as some area residents who watched from outside the fence line.
