St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain and St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Charles Preston discuss the arrest of Clayton Maricle and Marty Anderson over the weekend for their involvement in the homicide of a Slidell man during a press conference at the St. Tammany Justice Center on Monday, December 1, 2014. Saturday evening the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's office received a call from a Slidell woman who said she believed Maricle, her nephew, was involved in the stabbing death of Nicolas Carmen. Deputies with the Sheriff's office patrol and operations divisions located the body of the victim near the railroad tracks by Ben Thomas Road over the weekend. Maricle was was in St. Tammany on a weekend furlough from a boys group home in Branch, Louisiana.
