The Westwego City Council on Monday (April 14), unanimously decided to limit public comments from citizens to five minutes. The council's monthly meetings open with a public comment period, most of which are mundane, such as people requesting occupational or liquor licenses. Some comments are contentious. During the March meeting, Westwego resident Dolores Pike unleashed her ire on Councilman Glenn Green, leading to a dispute that included his wife Harriet Green.
